Tanzania is among the countries in the world with the highest potential for the production of bee products due to a high population of bee colonies (around 9.2 million) and conducive vegetation that is preferred by bees in many areas of the country. In Tanzania, traditional Beekeeping and Honey Production, involves massive felling of forest trees and use of logs of wood as bee hives.
To keep our forests, we have introduced the use of Modern Bee hives. This ensures the continuous production of DELICIOUS AFRILIFE HONEY, a Solution to De – forestation and in essence, SAVING THE PLANET

At AfriLife, we do not just sell SWEETNESS, We help breed, build, and sustain it. We provide an information technology supported KNOWLEDGE CENTER. We run a Model farm and Beekeepers School from where we constantly and innovatively train beekeepers. Here, we equip them with the right knowledge, technical skills, and apiary management practices.
We have adopted the use of Mobile Phones in our training sessions. This is to ensure quality across the Beekeeping and Honey Harvesting value chain. In addition to these, we educate Beekeepers to ensure they possess an ENTREPRENEURIAL mindset to enable them practice profitably. To help further, we have introduced a working and innovative BEEKEEPING SOFTWARE.
On Finance and Financial empowerment, we have and always facilitate the provision of Micro Loans to enable Beekeepers finance the purchase and acquisition of modern hives and equipment, other tools and inputs. To ensure profitably and a scalable Business, we provide tools that help Beekeepers track records.
